WECC (Western US reliability)
One comment window closes this week, a week from today: NERC's Canadian-specific revisions to EOP-012-3. The eight items that arrived this week are mostly routine docket mail, and every new deadline among them lands in September.
The through line: August ends with one deadline
The only window closing this week does so next Monday. After that, the calendar goes quiet until September 18, so if the Canadian-specific revisions matter to your footprint, this is the week to write.
Closing this week
The rest of the week's arrivals are routine per-docket business, and Friday was the busy day. On August 21, applications were accepted for filing and put out for comment, intervention, and protest from
Brookfield White Pine LLC for a temporary variance,
Alabama Power Company,
Georgia Power Company for a temporary variance, and
Seefeld Corporation for surrender of an exemption. Earlier in the week, a
notice of authorization for continued project operation for Pacific Gas & Electric Company was published on August 19, and an August 18 notice announced
additional scoping sessions on Pacific Gas and Electric Company's proposed surrender, decommissioning, and non-project use. The scoping sessions are scheduled steps, not comment windows; nothing in that paragraph carries a deadline this week.
What moved
Coming up
